THE JOY OF BEING

A one-day mindfulness meditation retreat

Rooted in stillness and nature

The Pinecone · Bonny Doon, California · Saturday, June 27

This gathering is limited to six participants to honor the intimate space of The Pinecone.

An Invitation

There is a kind of joy that does not depend on achievement or performance.

It arises in stillness.

It deepens in nature.

The Joy of Being is a small, one-day mindfulness meditation retreat held at the Pinecone in Bonny Doon, California.

We will spend the day in quiet practice, gentle guidance, shared presence, and time among the trees.

No experience is required. Only a willingness to slow down and let yourself be.

The Pinecone itself is part of the experience.

What To Expect

The day will unfold in a simple, spacious rhythm from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

We will gather in shared practice - guided meditation, quiet sitting, and time among the trees - while also honoring periods of personal reflection and solitude.

Throughout the day, there will be periods of seated and walking meditations. There will be moments in circle and moments to wander quietly on your own.

A relaxed lunch break will offer time to nourish the body and connect as you feel called.

No prior meditation experience is required.
